The Lalleys is a comedy centered around a nuclear family growing up in a small town in Kentucky. The dad, Peter, works for the police department in Kentucky. The mom, Joan, is a housewife who is head of the neighborhood crime watch group (but really she uses it to spy on her neighbors). Their kids are twins names Shelly (a girl) and Joey (a boy) who hate each other, but get together in times of crisis. Things are going great until an alien crash lands on their roof. Initially suspicious, the family adopts the alien as one of their own. Comical situations soon follow.
